Goods damaged during transit

DAMAGED CONSIGNMENT

When receiving an order the following Steps are to be carried out, Steps 1 & 2 are to be completed AT TIME OF CARRIER DELIVERY

1.A four sided check of each carton/pallet needs to be done.

2.If an order is found to be damaged beyond repair reject the goods.  If the damage is minor/repairable, please accept but note the consignment note as in “3” below.

3.If accepted, the consignment note and/or manifest (all documentation provided for receipt by the carrier) need to be endorsed as “carton damage” or details of any other visible damage.

NOTE: Please remember that STI (subject to inspection) is not recognizable     by law.

4.The product should then be opened and inspected for damage, preferably at the time of the delivery, or as soon as possible thereafter.

OUTDURE needs to be notified of any damaged or rejected goods by returning a Goods Return Form within a maximum of 5 working days from the date of delivery (preferably immediately).  This allows us to organise replacement goods if rejected and gives us recourse with the freight company if you’ve noted damage.

CONCEALED DAMAGE

Please ensure you inspect all goods as soon as possible after receiving them into store.

Where a consignment is endorsed as “Received in Good Order and Condition” but is subsequently found to have concealed damage on unpacking, OUTDURE has no recourse on the freight company.  However if you have contacted OUTDURE within 5 working days we will authorise one of the following options:

1.Discount to enable you to on sell

2.Provide parts, materials & labour to repair to new and sell.

3.if you return it to OUTDURE we will try to supply replacement product.

The above options are all a non-recoverable cost to OUTDURE and therefore at OUTDURE's discretion.  To assist in keeping this cost to a manageable level we would ask that where the packaging appears to have damage that the product is inspected and the freight company’s documentation is appropriately endorsed.

RETURNING OF GOOD SALEABLE STOCK

OUTDURE will only accept the return if the product is in its original packaging, unopened and in re-sellable condition, providing it is NOT a deleted line.  A 15% restocking fee will be applied.  OUTDURE will fax and/ or email a Credit Request  Form to be affixed to the goods to be returned.

PALLET RETURNS

Their is a flat $25 pallet restocking fee. The balance of your credit will be credited ot your account.

UN-AUTHORISED RETURNS

If unauthorized products are returned to OUTDURE store, the stock will be returned to the sender freight forward.
