When it comes to installing your composite decking, a few tips and tricks will point you in the right direction for a great installation sucess. We have an abundance of knowledge from years of experience, so use it.

ECO-DECKING is different to install compared to soft or hardwood timber, bamboo and a lot of other composite decking.

All composite decking expands and contracts due to ambient termperature variation and is generally very moisture resistant. Timber and bamboo are not so moisture resistant and swell and shrink from moisture absorption and evaporation. Thermal "expansion and contraction" is very different from "swelling and shrinking" due to moisture content variation.

• Thermal movement is noticable in a variation of the length of the composite decking board.

• Swelling and shrinking happens in all directions of a timber or bamboo decking board.
