Description: Two large outdoor rooftop areas, used as recreational areas for staff, the design combined decking, tiles and turf, bench seating, planter boxes, ramps, and steps.
Challenges: Finding a system that would not penetrate or compromise the waterproof membrane over time, that would work with low heights, providing a flush solution with the interior flooring and was able to be used with multiple surfaces.
Solution: The QwickBuild modular framing system was selected as it's a completely integrated, combining decking, tiles and turf, and could be used for the flooring, bench seating, planter boxes, access panels, steps and ramps.  It's a system designed to be installed on a waterproof membrane in low-height scenarios, it does not penetrate the membrane in any way, providing a very low risk installation.
