In the inital specification, QwickBuild was selected by BG Architects as the solution for the low height balcony deck structures to support the hardwood decking boards. However the initial construction company, whom have subsequently gone out of business tried to cut costs and constructed a poor makeshift version of the system which started corroding after six weeks post installation.
Project challenges: Hutchinson Builders contacted Outdure after being tasked with the remedial project only a couple of months after the initial installation had been completed. The aluminium substitute was corroded and the work to remove and replace the failed construction cost the owners exponentially.
