Accessibility to the high rise rooftop was overcome by the light-weight QwickBuild joists and bearers supplied as kit-set at custom lengths. Outdure sent a project manager to Hawaii for onsite support and training.
Solution
QwickBuild was specified to support an independent composite board over a waterproof membrane because of its low risk attributes over membrane and low height, long-span capabilities.
MGA Architects brief was to create the most unique rooftop bar/nightclub in Hawaii, SKY Waikiki, recapturing an underutilized rooftop and office floor.
