01 Joist

Horizontal framing profiles which deck surfaces are fixed. Joists run parallel and are attached to the beams.

02 Beams

Horizontal structural profiles that support the joists and distribute the load to the supports, beams are perpendicular to joists.

03 Fasteners

Depend on the chosen surface, for example screws for hardwood, hidden fixings for composites, tiles and turf baseboards.

04 Accessories

Include a range of brackets to connect the framework and provide additional structural support.

05 Supports

Placed on the substrate to provide a stable, low height base for the frame, also helping with drainage and ventilation.

06 Posts

Vertical structural elements that bear the weight of the deck and transfer it to the ground or footings. Often made of timber, steel or QwickBuild and commonly used in raised / elevated decks.

One system, all surfaces

  • Channel edge up

    For boards with a grooved edge that fit TwistClips, for turf on QwickBuild baseboards, or for exterior tiles with QwickBuild tile accessories. QwickGrates are also designed with snap mount integration.

  • Flat edge up

    Simply flip the joist 180° to use the flat edge for hardwood decking and other composites that are fixed with screws.

Simplified configurations

Taking the complexity and guesswork out of deck construction is a breeze thanks to our deck planner tool.

The deck planner calculates the optimal configurations from a multitude of unique joint and beam combinations to suit your specific project requirements.

The A110 profile can be used as the joist and the beam to achieve an ultra low structure height.

Beam = 28mm, joist = 28mm, support from 3mm, surface from 23mm. Total finished deck height from 82mm.

This configuration of the A120 as the beam with the A130 as the joist allows for a finished deck height from 161mm.

Beam = 45mm, joist = 90mm, support from 3mm, surface from 23mm.
