Daisho commercial rooftop

Two tone tiles combined with raised observation decks to maximise views, create an oasis for staff as well as private functions. The development has been so successful that stage 2 of the neighbouring rooftop space is under construction to be completed in late 2018.

Project challenges:
Needed to integrate with a pre-existing steel system which required span distances in excess of 4.5m and incorporate multiple surface finishes. The architect collaborated with the Outdure design team to maximise the usability of the space.

The solution:
QwickBuild was selected for its multi-surface integration capabilities combining decking and tiles. ResortDeck was selected for the viewing platforms, bench seating, stairs and ramps. A 180mm bearer was used to achieve spans in excess of 4.5m. QwickBuild was used as the structural support for all of flooring, bench seating, ramps, steps and viewing platforms.
